Welcome to my blog!

Chances are you found your way here through one of two ways: you follow my “planner Instagram” @cynthiaplans or you’re a friend or family member, who showed up to support me. Regardless of how you got here, I’d like to begin by saying thank you for visiting.

I’ve started a blog many times, but each time something wasn’t quite right about it.

• I had the wrong motivation

• It was the wrong time in my life, or

• I wasn’t invested enough in it

• I lost momentum because I didn’t have support

That said, this time feels really different. In truth, it’s been a long time coming. This idea has been swirling in the back of my brain for probably a year.

I know what I like and I know what I enjoy talking about. Thanks to the community of friends and followers I’ve developed on Instagram I also know there’s an actual audience that is interested in what I have to say or what I’m doing.

I’d been thinking about the name for this blog for most of 2018, but nothing materialized. Suddenly after the clock struck midnight and we entered 2019, it came to me. Crossing the threshold of a New Year proved to be the creative prompt I needed to dream up: Prosecco & Planners. As everyone who know me knows, I love a good, crisp glass of prosecco as a treat, and I certainly love my planners.

It’s my hope that my passion for planning, lifestyle interests, marketing and social media, food and beverage, all things local, and health will coalesce into compelling content that makes your visit here today the first of many to come in the future.
